Candle Decorating Tips |
| Candles are the most
versatile lighting system on the market today. With a little creativity,
some unique heat safe holders and the perfect placement will create the
perfect evening drama to any room.

|
| Decorating Tip 1 |
| |
| By using
mirrors, either as a base or back drop, will not only create the
illusion of multiple candles but will also increase the amount
of lighting as well. This is the perfect solution for warm
weather climates where extra heat (which candles will produce )
is unwanted. |

| Decorating Tip 2 |
 |
| Keeping with
being creative, by using unique heat proof glass containers,
many wonderful candlescapes can be arranged. In the picture on
the left, we use a large brandy glass, a ginger jar and a
custard cup as containers for our floating candles. Polished
river rocks, along with rose petals, are placed inside the
containers with water. Each container is then given on floater
each. The look is gorgeous and the flame's reflection actually
doubles in the containers. Keep in mind when choosing a
container that it be dishwasher safe. The dry cycle is actually
as hot as a candle's flame (or at least close to it). Also make
sure the mouth opening is at least 2" larger in circumference
than the candle. |

|
| Decorating Tip 3 |
| |
| Having
varied heights in your candlescapes will allow for each candle
to step out from each other rather than being one big candle.
This can be achieved by using a variety of different sized
holders or simply by using Pillars,
Votives and Tealights in the same candlescape. |

| Decorating Tip 4 |
| |
| When lighting
many different candles, keep their fragrances in mind. By
blending certain fragrances, you can either develop a blend that
creates a completely new fragrance (like Maple Sugar and Vanilla
Coconut when burned together will have the aroma of Toasted
Marshmallow) or compliment each other (Jasmine and Green Tea
combined with Cucumber creates such a relaxing spa aroma) or can
not compliment at all (like Coca Cola Type and Victorian Rose.

Our Holiday favorite
decorating tip! By using apples and small pumpkin gourds along with our
tealights to produce adorable place settings. Simply choose your produce
well (make sure they can stand straight. If not make sure you cut the bottom
perfectly straight so it will not tip over. Very important!) Cut a hole out
of the top of them large enough to sit the Tealight in. Insert a tealight
into each hole.
When setting your holiday table, fold a
napkin into a square for each plate per setting. Rest an autumn leaf on top
of the napkin. Place your apples or pumpkins (one per each plate) on top of
the autumn leaf, making sure it does not tip over before lighting it.
Perfectly elegant and easy!
